Press Release: PSA 2025 Year-End Review: Disrupting How We Protect America’s Public Servants

As threats to government workers hit record highs, PSA delivers novel solutions in under one year

Washington, D.C. – The Public Service Alliance (PSA) – the first platform built to empower America’s nearly 40 million current and former public servants across political lines to better and more affordably protect themselves and their families – released its 2025 year-end review, highlighting rapid growth in less than 12 months since commencing operations. From launching a first-of-its-kind marketplace to building one of the nation’s most comprehensive datasets on violent threats to public servants across every level of government, PSA consistently delivered practical and scalable tools for the people who have chosen to serve their communities.

"America's business model for recruiting and retaining honest, hard-working, and talented public servants is broken and inhumane. Millions are forced to choose between serving the communities they love and protecting their families. That's unacceptable, and we’re focused on changing it," said Isabella Ulloa, Founder & CEO of PSA. "At PSA, we’re building practical solutions to real-world problems to create an America in which the safety of those who serve always transcends politics. If you’re a current or former public servant, we have your back – and we’re just getting started."

Building The First Marketplace For America’s Public Servants

In September 2025, PSA publicly launched the first-ever marketplace to help America’s estimated 40 million current and former public servants save time and money on the services they need and deserve. The PSA marketplace connects users to free or discounted services that help protect their privacy and security, mitigate legal and reputational risk, and enhance their personal and professional well-being.

Raising National Awareness Of Skyrocketing Threats

Last month, PSA partnered with The Impact Project to release The Security Map – one of the most comprehensive datasets documenting violent threats to public servants across the United States. The dataset aggregates more than 3,000 records of threats to public servants since 2013 and underscores the pressing need for PSA. Key findings include:

  • Violent threats have surged across all levels of government and political affiliations.
  • Local public servants now account for one-third of documented threats.
  • Threats occur in every state, with a concentration in battleground states.

By The Numbers: Rapid Growth In Under One Year

In 2025, PSA:

  • Helped over 2,000 public servants better protect themselves and their families, doubling its active user base within one month of public launch and maintaining an over 95% user retention rate.
  • Partnered with over 30 companies to unlock meaningful discounts on products like home alarm security systems, online data privacy services, and much more.
  • Provided subsidized access to crisis response resources – including vetted legal counsel, communications experts, and security experts – yielding over $100,000 in possible savings.
  • Contributed to national reporting on threats to America’s public servants, including via features in Wired and the CBS Evening News.
  • Built an all-star team – the vast majority of whom are former public servants – and a bipartisan Advisory Board of leaders from government, business, and civil society.
  • Launched the PSA Security Project to make public service safer nationwide, starting by raising national awareness of the violent threats facing federal, state, and local government workers and how to stay safe.

Looking Ahead to 2026: Scaling PSA Across America

In 2026, PSA will:

  • Add new discounts, subsidized services, and free resources to its marketplace for exponentially increasing value.
  • Expand marketplace access through new white-label solutions, annual subscriptions, and enterprise-level partnerships.
  • Update the Security Map with new data and actionable insights, including to inform a policy agenda that makes public service safer.

As threats grow more complex, PSA will continue building practical, scalable, and nonpartisan solutions for current and former public servants across the country.
